You'll all be pleased to know I shall be in the garden for this with my headphones on - mowing the lawn today. Our winning whilst I am gardening record is very good this season and the end of last

We mow again...

I'm going to a wedding reception hog roast for a couple who got married in the Caribbean. No football fans will be there. Anxious checks of the mobile internet will be my main activity until 5.

I've missed many a wedding speech huddled around the car radio listening to the Villa score on the pretence of being in the bog back in the days when mobiles weren't an option!

I like that he's not just blindly sticking with a tactic which worked and changing it to suit the game we're playing - Baker does not deserve to be dropped, but the tactically correct move is to return to 4-3-3 and therefore Baker has to make do. I like it.

Also, that midfield should be looking to dominate possession, or at least to try and prevent Thuddlestone from doing so.

Wouldn't be surprised if it turns out being a 4231, with Westwood and KEA anchoring and Gabby, Delph, Weimann slightly advanced.  I think if we put Delph (pace and tenacity) directly against Huddlestone (their playmaker, but painfully slow) then we could stop them from playing.

We're making this harder than it should be. Westwood and KEA shouldn't be in the same midfield.

That's what I thought, but then KEA played further forward against City in That Second Half and did very well, so maybe that will be a good solution for now until we get a properly creative number 10 type.

Edit: Dants, I agree but like I say, I think it'd be KEA forward rather than Delph.

He certainly showed signs of having this ability in pre-season.

Certainly wouldn't play kea and Westwood together at home but not so bad away .

Happy with that team selection, bench is very weak though.

Anyone here watching Aussie TV? What's the name of this negative pr*ck of a co-commentator?

We are playing Hull right? Given some of the posts I was thinking it was Man City away or something.

I realise they've started reasonably well this season but have a little bit of confidence lads. Our midfield will be fine and with Gabby back they can't push up as much as they might like.

We look eager to keep the ball in our own half.
