Do we know that Gabby is back ?

According to Physioroom Gabby, Gary Gardener and Ashley Westwood will be back for this game. Also mentions Weimann has a knock but should be ok. Don't know how reliable they are, mind

Robbie Brady injured for Hull, think he's been their best attacking player this season.

Hull don't really score more than once in games so I'd be disappointed if we don't get at least a point, have a feeling Curtis Davies will nick one from a set piece as he's scored I think twice for them this season.

To all those being pessimistic because they can't see us winning 3 games on the trot - Hull have also won their last 2 games, so are they more likely to keep the run going than us? Not in my book.

Brady out for them is a big loss. Hull 1-2 Villa.

Hull didn't score too many last year and have won two at home so far on the back of grinding out 1-0 from soft penalties. Their other result was a 1-1 draw with Cardiff.

You would like to think that if we score twice, we would more than likely win the game.

1-2 Hull will miss Brady, Delph and Andi to score

Torn between thinking it will be a 1-1 draw or 2-1 to us.

Gabby being fit would certainly swing the odds of a win in our favour.

We have 3 wins and 3 losses and are going away to a team who might not be the most attractive but will be dogged and determined. I think you could put your house on a draw.

Three wins on the trot? Possible but unlikely. A draw for me.

Dangerous  game as they can do to us what we did to city.

A bit patronising to Hull that. They have the quality to win without it being a smash-and-grab.

Gaffer on injured trio.

Gabby Agbonlahor and Ashley Westwood could return to the Villa squad for Saturday's trip to Hull City.

Agbonlahor has been out of action with an ankle injury since the 1-0 victory over Norwich a fortnight ago, while a thigh strain has kept Westwood on the sidelines for the past three weeks.

But the pair resumed training this week and manager Paul Lambert is hoping to name both players in his squad for the clash at the KC Stadium.

"There's a few of them doing fine and they trained this morning," said Lambert.

"Gabby and Westy are doing alright. We'll see how they are tomorrow and if they don't react we'll put them in the squad."

Meanwhile, Lambert says Villa are in "good dialogue" with the Belgium national set-up over Christian Benteke 's selection for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Benteke has been included in the squad for his nation team's games against Croatia and Wales even though he is recovering from a hip flexor injury.

"I've spoken to [Belgium coach] Marc Wilmots and the medical people have had good dialogue so there are no problems," the manager added.

"He is doing really well so we just have to wait and see how he is feeling.

"I've spoken to Christian every day as I do with everybody else. He is doing alright.

"I trust him to look after himself as well. You can only take him so far.

"I trust Christian, I've spoken to him and I've spoken to the medical people.

"I don't tend to get too caught up in the whole scenario."
