I think we should play the 2nd half first

Three league wins on the trickle? Does that happen to us? I can't see it, somehow, so either a frustrating draw or a loss, I'm afraid. Andi to get another.

@MatKendrick: Mark Clattenburg will referee Hull v Villa on Saturday #avfc

Is this a modern thing, telling us who the Ref is? I've not noticed it till recently, and I've never been bothered (and probably never will) who actually referees the game.

There are many modern things which have been introduced to our bemusement. We are too old for this world, you and I.

As long as it's not Roger Kirkpatrick I'm not bothered!

I put £10 on Man City Saturday to soften the blow a little, so it looks like I will do the same for Hull.

Hull have a pretty good home record at the minute so it will be a good test for us.

With our erratic performance I think we need to change the poll to show the following:

Win first half
Loose first half
Draw first half

And then the same for the final result

Except the second choice will be smelt coorrectly.  >:(

Can also see a score draw, but then who knows- we are due a good performance and gabby must be due one of his famous away braces- im going to go three-one to a jubillant Villa to keep the winning habit going!

Before today I would have gone for a 1-1 draw.
But, I now have a ticket and will be there, so I demand a 3-1 victory.

Nobody nose how to smell that word correctly.

I reckon 2-2 draw. Us to score first for a change.

Yeah, this is how I feel too. It's almost like you dont want to get too positive because there's an unexpected kick in the nuts just round the corner.

Having said that, prediction wise - we hardly ever look like drawing these days and somehow I just can't see a defeat up there.

I'll go 2-1, to us, dull first half, with a nervy,  nailbiting last 10 minutes after Gabby puts us into the lead.

We have a weakened side, despite beating City last weekend.
We just don't do three wins on the bounce.
We're overdue a draw.

A draw it is.

We are more overdue 3 wins in a row though than we are due a draw.
Tough  game but a villa win.
