Monday will be an even better day.   I wonder if there is a drama coach who works on a Sunday I can hire?  I really want to hone the insults I intend to hurl at all those Mancs of both colours who are as numerous as the nits in Savage's hair in the places I work.

Who have the Villa got in the next round of the cup? was what I had to endure all last Wednesday.   Tomorrow is pay back

Lovely day today isn't it?

Yep, agree. If you want even more entertainment go on Man City's Blue Moon Fans Forum Post-Match Thread. Great comments on there.....Milner is shit according to them, Championship player at best! Hopefully we can do some sort of deal in January as I think Pellegrini will bomb him out.

Just had a look. Very amusing.

An absolute joke to lose to relegation fodder again.. it's quite clear to me that the change of manager is not working. We've ballsed up good style appointing Pellers.. total disaster, he'll be gone by Christmas

Pellegrini can fuck off if this continues

Can't kill off teams away from home. 1 point from fucking 9, unacceptable. Pellegrini had better turn this around ASAP

What a disaster, terrible, game, we should not loose to this shit in this style, no chance for the title this year, i think the falcon has to big an eye on Europe, i would take 3rd now

As for all the comments about being robbed, how about the mugging we got from the officials at The Etihad last season?

I am still basking in the glory of yesterday's result, it makes the rest of the weekend so brilliant, these feelings haven't come along too many times in recent seasons which makes them extra special.

The joys of football - a week ago they were ecstatic as they pissed all over united , that's what makes it such a great game , you never can tell what will happen next .

I agree. After last season, weekends like these seem like heaven. It's great to see everyone on here in a good mood too, joshing with each other in a much more light hearted fashion and taking more of an interest in football in general - something that only a Villa winning weekend makes me want to do

Yes, it was the way the BBC skewed it Kevin.   Our lads fought like bastards for every bit of luck they got.   That was as classic a fight back as you would ever want to see fuelled by guts, heart and pride.

Man City fans referring to Villa as "shite" and "relegation fodder"... They've had years and years of getting to know both terms intimately and - regardless of the oil money behind them - they'll always remain "shite" in my eyes.  (And "relegation fodder", come to think of it.)  You can't polish the proverbial turd, Bluemooners.

The icing on top of the icing on top of the icing on yesterday's cake was as I walked down the steps after the game a young boy aged about seven walked straight up to me without warning, stared me straight in the eyes from about my waist height and said "We were great today" and walked off to join whoever he was with.   I suspect he was not with anybody.   I suspect he was God.
This has made me cry with laughter. Brilliant. I thank you

You'd have thought that fans of a club that were a perennial joke and relegation fodder a few years ago and who have done nothing more than win the 'five year lottery' (chavski being the last winners) would be more humble. But then again, they are the same types who probably think Manchester is on a par with London and Paris and we're all gagging to live there

No thanks.

Is that a no thanks to resigning Milner, who is a dramatically better midfielder than any we currently have (Delph may be close to him if he can continue to improve) or is it no to looking on Blue Moon?

If anyone had tried to tell me at half time yesterday that we'd score 3 in the second period I'd have had them arrested. We'd been disciplined and hard working but I though conceding such a soft goal right at the end would mean us opening up and getting picked off.

Instead a side missing four or five regulars gave me my best afternoon at the football in years. Afterwards, walking back to the pub I kept catching snippets of conversation as we passed people, all extolling the virtues of players we hadn't even heard of 6 months ago.

There was something about being humble losers that didn't quite fit the manc mentality. Now that Man City are flush with oil money and mercenaries, having smoke blown up their arses by the media, they look much more comfortable as gobby, self-aggrandising losers instead.

I thought Milner was awful yesterday.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

A midfield trio of Milner, Delph and Sylla would be a vast improvement
