I've still got no idea how we won that match, non.

But we did. For now that'll do

Enjoy your Saturday night out

We came back twice and then found a winner against a side costs many, many millions more. That takes some doing. We found a way to win without our best and most influential player. This will give our lads huge belief.

And 4 points off top spot in the league ;)

Ps and having arguably played the most difficult opening schedule of any team in the division

Yep it's an impressive result, I just hope they realise that the first two goals were as a result of passing to feet and a bit of movement.

I still can not believe we won that.

That first half was McLeishian in the frustration, lack of ambition, piss poor passing, everything, as bad as we've played for a long time.

Mind you, god knows how many times last year we got nothing when we deserved something, so fuck it, I'll gladly take that.

I agree, but I'm thinking and hoping our approach was influenced by injuries and we wouldn't play like that again. There's no way ever we would have come back like that under Mcleish.

Brilliant team and manager!
And clearly the talismanic effect of your visit took a few days to kick in, as well.
  Well done!

I genuinely think the players lack the belief they can win at Villa Park. Today will go a long way to changing that.

Who got MOM?.......Bacuna for me, although another good game by KEA,andi thought Vlaar was very solid again.

Kea for me , it's not so much the 3 points but the huge confidence that a win like this at villa park could give us - a first half to forget but a 2nd to remember for a long long time.

Indeed. It was all about the passing second half - I get the feeling Lambert had a word because straight away after the break we started playing it shorter and to feet, which made all the difference.

Stunned and proud of the lads today. Expected a proper hiding, even more so at 0-1... Bacuna looks a very useful player and Kozak is a handful.

Going to enjoy tonight!
