If you were Lambert, what changes would you make? I'd go 4,3,3, taking Baker, Kozak and Sylla off. Lowton, Tonev and Helenius on.

It's sad to see how much better Manchester City and Spurs are than us....sad
Come on Villa!!! fuck me, that 4-2 victory in 2008 seems a long long long time ago...yet only 5 years

It happens when you have 100's of millions of £'s to spend compared to 10's of millions.

Do you know what? Fuck it. This is a team that wants to win the CL. It could be worse.

It isn't that that people are unhappy about, though. It's the lack of attacking intent and the complete inability to keep the ball for more than 2 or 3 passes without playing a hopeful 50/50 pass, or lumping it up for Kozak.

I don't get it. The one time we stopped doing that and tried to keep the ball and attack that way, we scored.

Delph just collected the ball from Clark from about three yards away. He had it for about ten seconds. First he went one way looking for someone to pass to. Then he went the other. Eventually he went for a hopeful ball to Sylla, who promptly gave it away.

Just about sums us up.

We're 1 goal away from being level on points with Man United. Let's be positive.

This is ideal for Vlaar to smash one.
