1-5 citeh
Another optimist eh.
They have used up their goals for this week, nine so far. It's going to be close not a walkover and here's hoping for a gutsy point.

It's a shame as Man City would probably come and play which would suit us more but without Benteke and players out of form We have no goal threat. I think City will score in the first 5 mins and then it could get quite ugly

I could see us getting spanked. On the other hand, citeh have been poor away from home this year and rested a few ahead of their last big CL game.

I think the most likely outcome is probably a 2-0 defeat.

Can't see us having too much goal threat. Perhaps Bacuna's set pieces will be a threat with Citeh having looked poor in defending set pieces so far this season.

But with kompany back I can see it being a difficult afternoon for kozak

More than their attacking ability it is Kompany and Toure that are the two players that make them so very solid. I still think we can get a draw out of this and with a bit of luck a win, but we don't match up well physically. We'll have to play very well to win this.

Sometimes villa can totally turn the form book around and be hard to predict - lets hope this is one of those days .

Looking at both teams, squads, individuals etc etc  this  does look like david v goliath but it's football and we will win.

I'm about to leave work and head towards the ground, whilst trying to convince myself that we'll surprise a few people today and stand up to be counted...

Those going to this match are braver than me. Scarey. At best, watching Citeh's collection of excellent expensive players up against our eager youngsters should be a treat for true football fans. What we want is 1) Lambo exhibiting unforseen tactical nous and 2) the players sticking to that plan and battling every minute for a result.

Bravery has nowt to do with it! Season tickets must be used if we like it or not ;-)

Just want to see us play today - our record against them isn't too bad  so who knows?

I want to see a fight fight fight approach from us and strangely enough I am looking forward to an afternoon at VP. If we give 100% and smash a few of theirs  but still lose... fine!

If we lose 4-0 and play like we did on Tuesday, then I will be extremely pissed off.
If we lose 4-0 but actually try to win the game and put some effort in, then, whilst defeat is always hard to take, I will walk away thinking that at least we gave it a go.

So, my prediction is 4-0. How we go about losing 4-0 is entirely down to the players.

I am looking forward to a very good performance from our lads. The result, well, nobody is expecting us to beat them.
Just give your all lads and there will be no complaints from me. UTV.

Could be worth telling Delph just to go wherever Toure goes to try and stop him. However, one, that's not really Delphs game, two, he'd probably get himself sent off very quickly with his stupid tackles and three, he's the one player this season that has driven us on in games.
