Blimey, talk about a mood swing from last week.

Our away form is fairly good, and our tactics actually work away from home.  Norwich have bought well, and are probably a better side than last season, but (despite being awful on saturday) so are we.  Still going to concede though!

1-2

I'll go for a 2-1 win. We really need 3 points from this game.

The biggest criticism that Norwich fans seem to have is that Houghton is too negative, so them coming onto us is exactly what we want. The side we've seen so far is built to hurt teams on the break and I think we can again.

What we do about the remaining 17 home games though...

Are we getting the dream team of Gregory and McLeish in charge?

We look at Okore's injury and think "we may need a centre half on loan in January". Lambert looks at this and goes "we need a creative midfielder, maybe another striker given the extra goals we may concede".

I'd agree with that, apart from the part about Lambert wanting a creative midfielder. He'll sign another 6 ft 3 striker in Jan because Kozak or Helenius are cutting it! ;)

Why, when people play badly, do fans always jump straight to the conclusion that they don't care enough, or have got complacent? Especially players like Weimann, Westwood and Lowton. Surely it's must more likely that they've lost confidence, have had limitations exposed or haven't yet got into form? That doesn't mean they should necessarily keep their place

I do think this is a massive game though. Wouldn't want to lose four in a row going into our next run of games

I'd go:

Guzan - Lowton (lucky) vlaar Clark baker - sylla Westwood Delph - Weimann benteke gabby

If Tonev looks good enough in training, he could start ahead of Weimann

I'd like to see a starting line-up of:

Guzan
Lowton
Vlaar
Clark
Luna
Westwood
Delph
Sylla
Benteke
Agbonlahor
Tonev

I like Weimann a lot but he has been off the boil for the last few games. Also I think Clark is more consistent than Baker.

Guzan - Bacuna - Vlaar - Clark - Baker???(Redmond threat??)

Sylla - Gardner - Delph

Tonev - Benteke - Gabby

Time for Lowton to be left out also KAE - left back is the problem spot Bennett got destroyed at Norwich last season but can Baker do any better in that position. I do think Luna would get torn apart by an in form Redmond as well. Westwood may be unlucky to be left out but Gardner's greater creativity i think warrants an opportunity. The side has been crying out for Sylla to come into it over last few games.
I dont think for one minute that PL will select Gardner but my opinion.

I've gone for a draw. It reflects my mood concerning Villa at the moment. Not particularly positive but not particularly negative either.

I agree with your team there, but I think he may give Andi another go at it. He should have bagged three league goals so far, as he missed two sitters against Chelsea and should have scored at the weekend.

Tonev looks nifty, but has a tendancy to drift in (argh!) from what I have seen. That seems more suited at home, when you want somebody moving in the lines between the opposition back four and midfield.

Yeah, that team looks about as good as we can put out at the moment.  Harsh on Weimann but he does look like he needs a rest.

Gardner is injured according to the OS.
