Two goals for Gabby, representing the two fingers he'll be sticking up at the absent and oblivious England football manager.

We should be winning this, and we should be playing the sort of football that home teams play in games they should be winning: on the front foot, keeping the ball, taking the initiative and making the opposition think about how long the coach journey was down, and how long it is back up again.

Our play style is pretty much perfect to be facing a team like Newcastle, most of their players play for themselves first and foremost so lost of closing down and pressure when they get the ball and make them chase shadows when we have it.

And another two for Tekkers and Andi, please. Don't mind if Delph gets in on the action, either.
And a clean sheet. :)

I'll go for 7-0 too. Sounds about right.

Was listening to the Grauniad's football podcast (strange how their written football stuff can be so bad, yet their podcast is so good) and one of the bods on there said Villa are an 'excellent team', 'very well drilled' and that he expected us to 'batter Newcastle 3 or 4 nil'.

I think he might be on to something there.

The weather conditions could mean quite a few mistakes by both teams.

Not good goalkeeping weather at all. We should still win this one however.

Cloudy with occasional sun during late afternoon is bad weather for football?

I thought the best conditions in the world for football was recently approved at about 50 centrigrade.

I will be making an appearance tomorrow and as others on here feel these are the games that we have to start winning if we are to avoid being in the lower reaches of the premier league for most of the season, the team seems to have a good spirit and more belief than last season and we do have goals in us so I think we will get the job done, 3-1 Villa.

As a Newcastle fan, I'd expect you guys to win tomorrow, but it won't be a thrashing. We have been dreadful all season, and only managed to beat Fulham thanks to Ben Arfa. Its expected that Tiote, Cabaye and Remy will start tomorrow. The only glimmer of hope for us is that when Remy came on against Fulham, we looked a lot better and we started to play good football.

I've been impressed with Villa this season. Looks like your lads will have a good one.

I think it will be 2-1 Villa. But a draw wouldn't surprise me.

We are going to need to be more dominant in midfield if we are going to win convincingly.  2-0 however.  Tekkers to have a blinder.

I love it, blame the weather for our sieve like defence. Ever thought about football management Ron ?
