Any memories of Der Hitz? Goals from distance were his speciality. I cant remember his goal vs Brum with too much fondness as I can never get over what happened at the climax of that match. His goals at Bolton, Pompey and at home vs Leicester were very special.

Whenever he got to the halfway line with the ball.
All the best, Tommy.

I know he wasn't who Alan Partridge was talking about but he really did have, "a foot like a traction engine".

I hope he finds a good role within the game if that's what he wants. He was a great pro.
He instilled the same sense of excitement when he got the ball as we experienced when we had Bruce Rioch - as soon as he was in the opposition's half you anticipated a spectacular shot and a spectacular goal.
The goal against Leicester was a belter!
All the best Hitz!

Didn't realise he's 31, for some reason thought he was younger.

Good luck to him, left us with some great memories.
Shame he didn't have a bit more to his game, but fuck it, if you can it a ball like that why bother trying anything else.
