Spurs and League Cup ? I'm still pissed off with Martin Chivers.

Big nosed cockney bastard, along with perryman who cleared Locheads shot off the line, I have spent the last 42 years (check my maths) hating the fuckers for ruining my childhood. It was the day I stopped believing in miracles.
Mind you I was 15 and should have grown up a lot earlier.

42 years, six months and two days!! Ruined my 13th birthday the next day; the only, very slight, consolation was that I got to touch the Cup as Perryman came down the steps from the Royal Box, as I was sitting in the 2nd row with my dad (God bless him), right next to the steps.

The week of my birth. Fuckers even ruined that.  A pox on their house!

All this is making me feel very old. I was there a - rather immature-16 year old. And I'm now thinking about it as an only slightly less immature 59 year old who should now go to bed.

Not that I can see. The United Liverpool game will be one I would think. So I would guess the other will be a PL team playing a team from a lower league.

Lets hope they price the game right, a bigger crowd would make for a proper good old fashioned cup tie atmosphere.

Without Bale and with £100m of new players, interesting. Maybe Wenger is right and Spurs may struggle until they all get used to each other. I think we'll win this if we can become consistent by then.
