First caller on WM is a Bitter that straight after winning 4-1 is only talking about us.

What did he say about us? They have already nicked Small Heath's song about us so I wondered if they had also stolen the noses term for us of 'spawny'.

Are Baggies likely to get Neil from Preston (or any other manager) before end of season?

edit: Preston press conference guy apparently refusing to take questions about managers position.

Neil is odds on to be their next manager so someone knows something.

Pretty radical to attempt new manager bounce for the play offs, would've been like us sacking SB at this stage last season.

Wonder which was the last club to attempt this?

I’d be really annoyed at settling for Neil if I was them.

Might not be a name but he got Norwich up and done a good job at PNE on limited budget.

Dunno if he's the sort who'd get an instant reaction from their squad though. He's built a very young 11 at PNE to play a pressing game and well WBA are just a bit old for all that nonsense.

Doesn't bode well to get a manager whose old team let in four against his maybe new team either.

Wouldn't think he would go there at this moment knowing we are going to shaft them in the play offs and put the petty inward looking club in their place.

Yeah, I heard that too. First words out his mouth pretty much. "We ay scared of villa ! 'ow many points they tek off uz ? Exactly ! We ay scared, we ay scared "

He might've then mentioned their game today.........but finished off by confirming we ay scared.

Sounds scared to me  ;)

Nobody wants to play us in the play offs. And I don’t blame them...

The first two sopping wet arsed stripedshit fans that came on did nothing but go on about us. They are fucking obsessed. What a sorry bunch of supporters they have. Good job there's not many of them.

Neil will have to work miracles if he gets the gig and Albion don't go up this season.  They don't have any dosh and will be losing Gayle. No wonder Jokanivic (sp) didn't want the job.

Neil would be a very wimpish appointment. He is limited, to say the least.

Neil is ideal for them, Championship manager for a Championship club.

My PNE supporting husband is furious that he was allowed to manage them against Albion yesterday.

Given that it’s an open secret that he is heading for WBA, what incentive did he have to get a result for his current team yesterday?
