As with most things on WM it's not so much what he says as the way it's said. When we've lost in the way we did yesterday I don't want to hear him agreeing with the air of we're shit and got what we deserved that they specialise in.

That's right. It's the implied tittle tattle that the stripey wankers seem to specialise in, and as I said this once good now shite station has too many of them to be impartial. Didn't you used to go in their studio Dave, what happened there?

Yesterday's man.

The other week a Blues fan rang up saying they’d go up automatically now that they’d ‘clicked’. Wolves last season went far beyond enjoying their brilliant Championship winning season, and started talking about Europe and Premier League wins before they even went up.

These fans are enthusiastic, over optimistic, maybe even ambitious - It’s only Villa fans who are arrogant.
Spot on mate.

I've never heard a positive word come out of Thompson's mouth regarding the Villa.

I only listen to WM as the very last resort, when all other options have failed.

Tuned in last night just in time to hear that horrible, nasty little scrote Eddie once again whinging in his "just been kicked in the balls" yam yam voice about kids sitting around him daring to take selfies with their families, want to go to the toilet, fall asleep during the game or just look around them and not focus on the game.
The bloke is an absolute stain and I'd be embarrassed to know him or worse, be related. He got quite worked up about it too when challenged by Wanksy. Time to put this dinosaur out to pasture, like a old junkyard dog.

Blimey is that cretin still allowed on, if memory serves me right I'm sure he once said something blatantly racist and it was ignored. Do yourself a big favour and don't listen in.

Franksy is a condescending tosser that clearly enjoys running down Villa at all opportunities. Listened to the first 5 minutes of the phone in the week we beat Blues, and it was all about how they had us pinned back for the first 20 minutes. It was enough to want to never hear the show again.

Mad how someone without a Football back ground gets to host a show like this, if he's the presenter, then he should just present, without his pointless agenda being opinionated all of the time. If BBC WM were serious about Football then Franksy wouldn't be in this job. Embarrassing.

I don't like him either but first started listening in the late 90s and he was doing it then so 20 years hosting phone in (and the weekend coverage) is a fair innings. Or sums up WM they can't be bothered to get in someone new and without an agenda.

Yeah a few years ago he referred to wolves fans as "those tigtogs* from down the Birmingham road"(or whichever road it is)

Sounds like he should've been an extra from that tv show Love Thy Neighbour, where casual racism was seen as funny in that era.

*rhyming slang used :-)

Yeah, that's the clip I was thinking about. Obnoxious, know it all type who usually starts off his calls having a pop at "little aston" (which is actually a swanky place to live,  so hardly an insult ya cretin !).
Then again, we have our own fool called Al from Solihull but that's another story....

Why didn’t ‘Franksy’ pull him up over that rather than trying to gloss over it?
Wankers, the pair of them.

He probably put it down to his age. I've heard a few old uns say that they aren't racist, they're just old fashioned, in that (I guess) there used to be less of "them lot" living and working around here when they were younger. The mind boggles at their logic

I had an entire Christmas Day of it with the racist in-laws and their friends. Nearly walked but...
