Please tell me a stripey fan wasn't stupid enough to say that live on air?

A doghead rang in last night to moan that the media were ignoring Wolves start to the season. He then went on to say he was happy they were being ignored seconds after moaning about it. Exactly the kind of nonsense i expect from them in all fairness

I don't mind Wolves or their fans that much but when it comes to fickleness, they're up there with the worst.

Quality last night from Pete the nose (he's 65 you know) who said he couldn't fault any of their players last night and then proceeded to say how poor two of them were.

Wolves fan then phoned up to have a go at Martin O'Conner and to quantify what he'd said came out with "I've played at quite a high standard".  Genius.

Franks has been on the wind up about us and Wolves all week.  He got pulled up about it by a Villa fan last night and acted all surprised and innocent.

I think it was in the first PL season when we were going for the title with Manchester United and drew 1-1 at Old Trafford. Under the stand waiting to go in we were next to Franks and Tom Ross both standing there waiting with equipment to be let into their media area. It made me cringe. It was clearly a case of two people who know each other but don't particularly like each other making awkward small talk as it was slightly more preferable than an awkward silence. Even I felt awkward.

Prefer Tom to be fair even though he is a nose. Franksy is just one big wind up merchant.

The blues had won one in six all season. Then after the Wednesday result he was 'putting it out there' 'can blues make the play offs'. As someone once said on here he is the radio equivalent of click bait.

Franks is the new Bob Hall. He will end up on Sky Soccer Saturday letting us know how Forest Green are doing against Accrington.

The ones that cover the lower leagues don't get shown live. They just phone it through with their picture shown so Franksy could do a Bob Hall and just use a twenty year old photo of himself.

WM has been a joke for years.

Their 90 minute commentaries are still o.k but they lack an expert co-commentator.

Said it loads of times but there's no need to have a phone in five nights a week, don't think even BBC London do it every night with all their teams.

One on Monday reacting to the weekends games and then on Friday is enough plus the reaction on the Saturday.
