Didn;t quite get it right, just found it it was from Phil McNulty on the Beeb
"Harry Kane justified his selection up front but the likes of Fabian Delph and Kyle Walker suggested they will be shadow squad men and not much more."

He's just a massive Cnut recently further emphasised by his fawning over the citeh fans to deflect the absolute hatred directed at him when he came on.

Yep. Try to ingratiate yourself by playing the clown during the warm down in Seville. Throw your shirt to the crowd after ten minutes on the pitch at Villa Park. Wait for next ten minute appearance.

Fucking cock.

As it always took Delph 30 or 40 minutes to get up to speed, I can't see him ever reaching his best again. He may as hang up his boots now.

Whilst I can appreciate the schadenfreude, it must also be pointed out that McNulty is a massive prick.

Agreed, see also Pat Murphy and other associated BBC dregs. Such is my contempt for them if they start laying into Delph I start to think better of Delph. No small feat.

Would you say the article was a "return to the dark ages" of journalism, showing "the ugly face" of the profession, or would that be a fucking massive overreaction as well?

I like Pat Murphy. There, I've said it. And his interviews with Lambert were brilliant, I thought.

For me, Pat Murphy tells it - just about as it is every time.

To me Murphy has a massive blind-spot (his ongoing hissy fit that Randy won't grant him an interview) but is otherwise very good.

for me Pat is like  the vast majority of BBC reporters/presenters/whatever ; hubristic, pompous self absorbed arsewipes - there, I've said it!
