I just despise this man for the way he has made the Football club I love a laughing stock, Lied to the supporters, and dragged the integrity of British footballers to a whole new low, if any good comes of this sorry affair it is this - Fabian Delph - your name has now become a byword for treachery, regardless of what you achieve at the accursed Manchester's OTHER club, you will be remembered for this above all else, enjoy your money, enjoy the success Sheikh Mansoors money is buying at City AND ROT IN HELL.

To be honest, I've largely forgotten him now.

Now that I've calmed down a little and in retrospect, I just think that he was advised very, very badly regarding the PR side of things.

I've largely forgotton now, but I haven't changed my view at all that it's all pretty much his own fault and he's a dishonest snake.

I don't like we refer to his new team in the thread title as ''City''.

I agree.  It's as though Manchester has taken ownership of the "City" and "United" football identities.  As always, I blame the media.

if that is true then it just goes to show how disconnected from reality these people really are.

Reports that Micah Richard will be the new captain, I'd have gone for Clarke personally but there you go.

That could be awkward as I don't think we have anybody called Clarke.

Or Richard.

In fairness if they want to offer me a lucrative contract, my name IS Richard, and I am more than happy to be the new Villa captain.
