I do think our brand has been further damaged this last week .

How, Delph has made himself look a massive penis, but the club got 8 million for him rather than him going on a free and the club have stuck to the released clause and not been bullied regarding Benteke. Instead of moaning maybe see Sherwood signed a potential star today
The national and indeed global media just see the headline .

That is by far the stupidest thing that you've ever posted. Read it back and you'll see what I mean.
That's quite some claim, when you think about the contenders for that award.

Yes, the 'Bournemouth shouldn't be allowed in the Premier League with their ground' post was a highlight. I'm starting to think he does it on purpose.

The media write the entire story, yet they only see the headline. Have a think about that for a second.
Oh the irony . To the general punter its business as usual.
Point being we lose our skipper again with no fight.

So Delphs baby ( as far as I know) hasn't been born hence the reason why he didn't fly out to Portugal but he's now on a flight to Australia to meet up with his team mates.

Not really covering himself with glory is he?

He had a clause in his contract which he probably insisted on. Which part of that are you confused about?

You're talking about irony, but earlier you said we should have given him away for nothing.

I'm with Sillhvilla. We should have put up a fight and given him away for nothing. That would have shown the global and national media.

Wow, if so that doesn't really come off in a positive way.

I appreciated the bloke signing a new contract in January, wasn't overly annoyed when I found out a release clause was involved and expected him to go and was chuffed last Saturday when he declared his loyalty and love and was staying. He aint in the class of Barry and Milner, let alone the likes of Mortimer and Cowans as someone mentioned earlier. He can feck off, he has only played 25 premiership games in a season once I saw today.  I really hope we can show next season we are better without the tw%t

I don't think there are any question marks about him, he is a total bellend who with his agent made a complete mess of his actions

It's one lie after another. It all comes so easy to him.

Hmmm I hadn't considered that.  I think Brian's theory that the U-turn was due to a contractual glitch could be true.

Yes, business as usual. This sort of thing happens quite a lot, not just at Villa.

Fairly good player says he loves the club, then leaves for higher wages. I'm mildly annoyed, and can't understand why it's being built up as though it's the end of the world. Happened before, will happen again. Many of us have more important things to get upset about.
