“I’ve experienced some incredible low times in my career with injuries and at one point even questioned whether I would even return to Premiership level. Despite that, I’ve always been 100% committed to improving my game and developing as a player and a person.
Yes again we stood by you. However now you are safe as there is very little chance of getting injured sitting on those nice Recaro seats and it will develop your arse no end!

“As a kid watching the game on TV and then as a young footballer you dream about testing yourself against the best in the world, to compete for major trophies and to play in the Champions League. I’ve proved that I can play at the very top level with England and believe I owe it to myself to take the challenge of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world in Manchester City.
Richest not biggest and never will be. You played for a class club now you are at Greedistan. Just count your money and shut the fuck up.

Just fuck off you spineless disloyal wanker.

I still think in our contract negotiations with Delph when he and his team tabled a demand for  a release clause at about a third of his true value the Villa team should have sussed that the greedy little tow rag wanted out.   Instead of reacting with the acceptance that if we did not accept the release clause he would walk anyway we should have realized that his greed was his Achilles heel and told him that he could make more money by pissing out of the tent than pissing into it.   We should have said okay we accept the insertion of an £8 million trigger on your release clause but we want to insert the word "minimum" after it.   So if, say Man City trigger the release clause we will agree and put you on the transfer market and invite offers for you.  To maximize the benefit to you we will split 50/50 with you all receipts over £8 million.   If your true value as a young English international is say £30 million, we the Villa will take the first £8 million and the other £22 million will be shared equally with you.   You will get £11 million and be free to get the best deal you can from the highest bidder.   We should have gone on to say to him "Why screw us who have done so much for you when you can screw whoever buys you?"   Of course the little tow rag might, just might have told a potential buyer about the built in Villa loyalty bonus and said to, say Man City "I am going to lose out £11 million if you get me for £8 million so I want that £11 million from you" but at least the Manchester City smart arses who plundered us would have had to pay the full going rate, whether we got it or not.
In a nutshell I am saying that the club by acting honourably fell for his protestations of loyalty and decency and gave him a green light to shaft us within months of signing a new contract.   I think Fabian Delph and his agents had it all worked out to screw us.   The public statements of loyalty were to lubricate the buy out clause at a derisory level and the U turn was to screw more money out of Manchester City.

Biggest SNAKE ever wearing the shirt.

Even Savage was Tweeting something like "I'm not the most unpopular footballer in Birmingham anymore".

We have to get on with things; he was no Messi - we must remember his crap tackling - his miss hit passes - his general impetulance.

I'm not saying he's crap, but he's nowhere near the quality of a usual Citeh signing.

Now FUCK OFF Delph - see you on the Villa away team seats on 7 November.

I hope you rot in hell of city reserves and than play for Bolton in 3 years time and than back at Leeds in League one to express your true loyalty.

Not biggest. Richest.
Exactly. Modern football confuses the definition of club stature, success and wealth especially in the media...the simple fact that having a mega-rich owner generally enables a club to buy players and trophies means these definitions are becoming one of the same.

I've just put Delph up for sale on Football Manager and the only offer I got was Derby for 4.5 mill. Amivi on the other hand cost me 9.5 mill. The future is bright

He has made himself look like a complete and utter prick. It would be nice if we aren't the only opposition supporters to remind him of this next season when he starts his warm up on 82 minutes.

Yup. They wanted Pogba but ended up with Delph. That's how big Man City are, and there is a limit to what money alone will do for you.

I have to take exception to this continuing comparison of Delph to snakes.  This is a bit unfair on snakes.  Delph is lower than a snakes arsehole.

There is going to be some atmosphere on 7th November - I wonder if City might even withdraw the lying twat from their squad for that game?
