Delph knew Benteke was going, it's bullshit. Claiming he intended on staying the length of his contract, bullshit, he inserted an £8m clause in it after all. The guy is just a liar now and anything he says i'll take with a pinch of dog shit. He will try and justify his piss takery anyway he can right now.

Yep that's about it.

I assumed Archie meant the statement Delph made a week ago, not what the club said today.

Ah ok fair enough apologies. Because the club statement is pretty obvious.

The media are ripping into him.

He will be remembered for the u turns and nothing else. His football isnt good enough to be remembered

Far worse than Sterling. At least that overrated turd didnt shy away from wanting to leave

He really has made himself look a massive twat after that statement last week. It's that statement and then fucking off a week later that has pissed me off, especially after I was defending him last week.

It was never a U turn, he was just haggling his wages up over the last week.
Lying wanker

He's signed for the same amount of money he was offered last wee. He's still a very rude word though.

Just showing his stats on SSN.  28 games 0 goals 3 assists.  Fuck off and rot. You wont be missed.
More bookings than assists. As a player, he's no great loss but it's the complete lack of giving a shit about how fans feel that makes me really hope that this goes totally pear shaped for the grasping little twat. I'd love it if his next game against Villa is for Man City's reserves. Love it

The media seem to be revelling in 'little Aston Villa' being put back in their place

Delph may be a c*unt, but after "that" statement on the OS, we have become the joke of the English PL. The amateurs night show!

Can't you read between the lines? That statement was the minimum of professional courtesy. It speaks volumes of what they think of him.

Maybe I am lost in translation mates, and thank you for your kind words Legion, but my English is actually poor.
But please help me to understand the point mates.
On the OS has been published the statement that  Delph would remain.
Now he's gone.
Doesn't this mean that Tom Fox made an amateur figure?

Yeah I had the misfortune of having to listen to talk shite this afternoon, who's poll was ''who is the biggest snake? Delph or Sterling?''

One just held his hands up and said I'm not playing for you next season sell me.
The other signs a new deal, tells his fans he loves them, goes to leave, tells his fans he bloody loves them, then leaves.
