I will let you into a secret WW, I did not really get a vision of a curtain coming down at the final whistle, it was a vision of the end of a Loony Toons cartoon when everything disappears down a hole in the middle of the screen with the message "That's All Folks!"   The falling of a curtain is, as you say, a little more poetic but not strictly true.

They call it creative tension and licence I think Brian - it was the crashing oaks and saplings that got me
My secret from that day is I was so drunk (in a friendly way) by the second half there were 44 players and we lost 7-0
