Any of the top four can offer wages that nobody below can hope to equal. That is simply why Delph is going, nothing to do with prospective medals or anything like that. He has been shown up to be a devious liar,a man whose word means zero.

He apparently reads the football forums. So Fabian Delph in the county of your birth (Yorkshire) they will be absolultely disgusted with you.

Bollocks to him and the club for inserting such a shitty clause in a contract you couldn't wait to announce back in January. What a crappy way of treating the fans of this club.

Lerner, Fox and co really need to pull their finger out and give us something to shout about considering the shit they've put us through over the last 5 years. How about showing some ambition in the transfer market for a change.

Another crap day at Aston Villa.

This.

The whole thing does make me think "why bother"?

There's several teams in this league that it's impossible to compete with, whatever you do. Any decent player you unearth will be constantly linked with said teams until they inevitably go, you've got no chance of stability and the only thing you can "look forward" to is trying to stay in the league so that the process can repeat itself again and again. This is as good as it gets.

Blame agents, Man City, the club whoever really. Ultimately this is all down to Fabian Delph and his shameful lack of integrity and character.

If the bloke had any sense, he'd have stayed for another season, got his euro's place then gone afterwards. Bearing in mind he's come out and said twice that he's staying and he loves the club, it was the least he could have done and he most likely would have left with good wishes from the majority of us.

Pompous prick alert.  Thing is we now live in a society where money is the be all and end all of everything.   As my son put it, there is no shame, there is no pride any more.   Success is measured only in pounds, shilling and pence.

If it's true, it's very disappointing. I wonder if something has changed behind the scenes, or it could be for he's been offered an obscene amount of money (well more obscene than he currently earns!), and lets be honest, I bet most of would bail a job for double or triple wages regardless of what we'd said. He'd look a total cock though after that recent statement, although no more of one than some of the players/managers who have shit on their clubs to join us have.

That's the thing, a supposed great tweaking of the rules to suit home grown talent has been royally fuckin manipulated to prize one of our best players away from us.  For a team that produces or develops a decent amount of home grown talent as part of its own survival and success the rule has completely and utterly screwed us and teams of similar standing.  So on the one hand Citeh can just go and buy who the fcuk they want when they want, and then buy the best homegrown talent to satisfy a criteria.  Where will it fcukin end.

I would like TS when questioned about this to reply with a simple two word statement..."Fackin wanker"

I'd love three...."Fuck the fucker".

Not many make two seperate statements declaring their loyalty before leaving a week after the second one though.
