Clutching at straws.... is there any chance that the film of him leaving the hospital after a medical were from last week when he'd supposedly had the medical before changing his mind? If he had the medical last week - why would he need another one today?

He didn't attend a medical last week.

Nope the SSN footage was from today. I didn't think he turned for his medical last week anyway.

Hope they don't think they're getting a "big game " player there.cf FA Cup final .The only game he was playing that day was hide and seek.

We can dress it up how we like about big game this and big game that.  He was our big game player.  Due to his monumentally cnutish decision to leave the club in the lurch a week after saying he was staying, 6 months after spouting he was some kind of man, it has left us in shit street of that there is no doubt.

Everything we feared is/has occurring/occurred however.  Sherwood has a monumental task adequately replacing Delph a man who described as being responsible for keeping us up, as well as Benteke a player who (in his three years here) has scored 30 more goals than his nearest rival (Gabby) over the same period.  I can tell you as of now, I am officially concerned about our medium term future.

100% agree but I was equally concerned at the start of this season. I'm not overjoyed Benteke and Delph are leaving. Far from it. However I have hope that fresh blood is needed anyway. If we can get some seasoned players in who can stabilise there is still a mid table finish to look for.

however as I was at the Estadio Da Nora in Portugal this last week to see our first outing, Richards is as much a Centre Back as Bacuna is a right back. That needs sorting pronto!

In that case he looks unbelievably stupid having publicly re-affirmed his loyalty to the club. When he was supposedly going last week I commented that he had out-weaseled Downing. If this happens now he has out-cnuted Hodge.

Not such a bad first ever pre-season window for Tim Sherwood then
