The bloke who tweeted the photo is threatening all sorts of legals to anyone who reproduces it uncredited.

Happy for you to unlink it Dave if needed.

So, somebody has photoshopped Sterling's flat top out of a photo, and all of a sudden Delph is leaving? I do hope the BBC are basing their headline on something more concrete than that, because from where I'm standing it's nothing more than a decidedly racist "all black blokes look the same".

That makes it sound like someone who wants his fifteen minutes.

Its not Man City's fault. All they've done is offer to pay the contracted price.

The only thing that leaves a bitter taste is all the nonsense Delph came out with first time around about loving the club etc, only to then amplify it with yet more lies the other day.

Players come, players go, good, bad or otherwise. Only one or two seem to be able to create such a nonsense about how they do it.

Delph sits chief amongst any Villa player in our entire history, surpassing Hodge. That's some going.

True, but I still hate everything they represent. They buy the captain of another club in the league to tick a box and put him on the bench, all the while paying absolutely absurd money. They're dream-stealers.

Jeans are different colour and Sterling's trainers are slightly different too.

If true, then sorry, Fabian, but this trumps both Hodge and Downing in my book.

“I’m aware there has been intense media speculation surrounding my future in the last 24 hours and I want to set the record straight.
“I’m not leaving. I’m staying at the football club and I can’t wait for the start of the season and captaining this great football club.”

really ....

I'm struggling with this. If true, this would make Delph the ÜberHodge, which experts had hitherto considered impossible.
