So the press are basing this on a photo of a black guy walking into a building?

Hmmmmmmm.

You wonder if he had been with the squad out in Portugal if it has been different? People in his ear over here and changed mind yet again. Surely loudest booing of a player since Dwight Yorke on his return to VP if true.

M.E.N. journalist now saying - Delph expected to complete formalities of City deal today

Unless Delph has been told something last week that's proven to be complete lies by our club of course

In that case I wouldn't blame him obviously

I did wonder when someone would try and blame the club.

Just wasn't who i expected, same start to the name though.

On topic, I just can't believe this is anything other than a convincing wind-up that has fooled a lot of reporters who are desperate for a big story to start the weekend, just like last weekend.

BBC Sport can confirm Fabien Delph's £8m move from Aston Villa to Manchester City is back on and the 25-year-old England midfielder is currently undergoing a medical.

Then he's beyond Hodge.

Real journalism is dead, and "journos" print anything what gets them clicks so I don't believe anything they say unless it's official.

If he had left originally, I'd have fully accepted and understood the decision.

IF he goes now, after the statement he released, he'll look a right bellend and deserve no respect from us - at all. Whether he's annoyed about Benteke, etc, anything. That statement was him saying he is 100% committed to our club. Do not release that statement, if it isn't true. Just stay quiet.

Totally. This would be the worst betrayal by a Villa player in my lifetime.

Why are 'we' a mess? Seriously, how can this possibly be the fault of anyone other than one man?

lets remember the lessons of last week and keep it civil for now, the only evidence is a fairly inconclusive photo of someone going into a hospital.

Soton were stripped of their best players last year...doomed to relegation. Looked what happened...it's not the end of the world.

Oh f#ck his agent, Delph is a grown man who makes his own decisions.
