He is not a Judas. We finish fourth bottom and he gets to play for a title challenger. Good luck.

He's not Jurassic, he's a very naughty boy.

Never said he was. I don't think he is a Hodge or even a McMahon. Let him go is my view.

I rarely wish anyone who leaves The Villa good luck.

The thing is that's factually correct, but it's ignoring a couple of key components to the story, which is why people are upset.

I am not party to the whole story, so I won't stand in judgement.

Everyone was party to him saying he's loyal and here for the long term. Everyone also appears to be party to his minimal release clause.

its a bit sad alright, suspect deal with City has been long done to be honest. He could have left for free like Vlaar so at least we get what we paid for him back.

He owes a lot to Paul Lambert and showed a lot of character to turn his career around at Villa Park. There were games he was taken off so as not to further dent his confidence. If he can add goals to his game then he will have a lot going for him. City have some well over rated midfielders on their books so I think he will do well there.

Its life guys, to be honest most of us would leave our employers tomorrow for twice the money elsewhere.

A lot of pressure on Gueye already

I knew the game was up when he said he was "already over" the Cup Final just 2 weeks after. Not the comments of a Club Captain or a man who claimed that this was "his club"

Well Fab, we will have to remember your part in that spineless effort that day for ever.

I've been incredibly cynical about football for years but I have to admit to being duped by this. If he'd left on a free it really wouldn't have bothered me, but to sign when he were at such a low point under Lambert and then come out with all those wonderful soundbites. At the time I believed it.

For me he joins Hodge, Downing etc.

Two faced cnut. At least we know what ' here for the long term' means in a modern footballer's head. Hope he enjoys counting splinters in his arse as much as he enjoys counting his money while his football career disappears over the horizon. Out-weasel's Downing, and that really does take some doing
