Fuck off Delph, you twat. They just sold an English player better than you. You're not good enough to play for them. Twat.

Sadly it appears to be petering out to a predictable conclusion.  But let's be honest City are better placed to offer him success and cash than we are.

For what it's worth, I believe Delph intended to stay when he signed his deal, but something has happened since then which has changed him mind.

Yeah, his agent touted him.

Or maybe he realised the club had spun him something that wasn't going to happen.  For a club that needs major surgery, we haven't done much business at all.

The club is rotton to the core and things will only change when Lerner and Fox move on.

A lot of hate based around a rumour I have only seen on the (never reliable) BBC football section reporting it from bloody RadioWM. Maybe hold off on our ire until he actually does something to deserve it?

If you are going to sell your best midfielder to Man City every two years what is the point in competing. I mean really.

It's everywhere including Sky I'd be amazed if this didn't happen

I'm disappointed to lose Delph but not surprised I'm just glad we are going to get some money for him but I don't like the idea of losing our better players.

And the Birmingham Mail, and the Daily Mail's bloke on our patch. And John Percy the other day, I believe.

He just looks an unloyal idiot but by my thinking was encouraged by the club to come out with the loyalty bollocks to lift the club which it did. The club backed him through the injuries etc but as somebody has said what has changed if he did want to stay? Does he not get on with TS? Is Lerner going (he did praise him in January)? Has he not bought into the current Villa plan?
He will get abuse and does deserve it to a degree but as I would say about him and Benteke, where were they in the Cup Final? Both have been part of some of the worst Villa displays I have ever seen. We have to move on.

It seemed to me that Gueye was a replacement, disappointed but that's football these days, we'll still be here and the Club will always be bigger than anyone so enjoy Delph, you could have been a legend but now you are a chump

Oh well. I think, long-term, he'll have more reason to regret it than we do. We can replace him, but he has only one career, which he's going to wreck by going to Man City who are transparently looking for an English bench-sitter to meet their quota of homegrown players now Milner's gone. More fool him, but enjoy being paid to never play for England again, Fabian. Good chance to improve your sudoku ability.
