I don't get the importance of winning trophies and leagues in the life of a real fan of a club. What being a die hard proper fan delivers is way above pot hunting glory, it is the inalienable right to take the piss out of anybody and everybody who is not just the same as we are. I wish people would move on. Delph clearly took poor advice and lacks the accumen to conduct himself in a decent manner, but that is little reason to wish him harm.
He was often a good player for us but never great and I am satisfied that we have made a significant upgrade by signing Gueye who looks like a much more accomplished player than Delph will ever be.

You're right of course, but I'm still glad his hamstring is fucked.
