I agree, the tosser. Think we should close the thread and completely ignore him....until 8th November of course

I would give an impassioned retort as to why he is a prick but I spent ages typing it up for the first H+V of the season earlier!

He's indecisive, rather than a true rotter of Hodge proportions.

Or even Platt, who was preparing for a move at least 12 months before he got one.

I'm not aware of multiple transfer requests going in as per Gareth Barry either.

I'd take it as a compliment that he was generally torn on the matter, despite Citeh's current status and ours.  Like Milner, the club did seem to mean a lot to him, but he had to move to progress.

I don't wish him harm at all, particularly with the run of injuries he's had before.  He was one of the few brightspots in a dismal couple of years.

I admit, I will find it mildly amusing if he spends most of the time being benched up there and his In-ger-lund career hits the skids as a consequence.  But I reckon he has enough about him to make a go of things there.

Sorry, but the inclusion of the low buy-out clause proves he WAS planning a get out at the earliest opportunity.  He's just a filthy liar.

I actually hope he stays 100% fit all season, because then he'll have no excuses for not playing in anything other than the League Cup 4th round.  If he DOES manage to play regularly, Man City won't be qualifying for the Champions League.  He was one of the best players in a poor Villa team, but he's nowhere near good enough for a top 4 team.

My Man City contact said he'll tell me all about what went on when we meet. But that's not going to be until we play them up there. By then I doubt I, or we will be bothered any more as its a distant bore to me now.

I stated some weeks back. Professing your love for something doesn't come with conditions. If he genuinely did love the club there would have been no buy out clause. If he wanted to thank the club for sticking by him when injured for so long and didn't profess any of that love stuff then he'd have a clause set at a level an England midfielder would expect to make, ie. £20 million.  So yes, filthy liar is what he is.

I didn't mind the get out being £8 million; it was better than nothing. All the loyalty stuff in January; it was what we needed at the time. Then came the u-turn.

There's a reason why fans of every club across the country were loving it when Delph got stretchered off during his first game for City. He's a liar, plain and simple.

Exactly, the stuff in January suited the club more than him, the u-turn is the bit that's got people angry.

Haven't read all the long posts - hard day at work - but SSN are still saying this game is at 5.30 on the Saturday.

As a player, I wonder how it feels to be a part of a club that wins honours but play a very limited part in helping the team.  Do you feel part of it all or feel like a spare prick at a wedding.

Medals are only given out to players that make a certain number of appearances.  Delph could end up with no medals at a club that wins a lot but with a bank account full of money.  If that is the case, how long before he becomes disenchanted and his career goes into a downward spiral.

Any news on this injury? Taking a while to assess. Then again I assume it's hard to find where a snakes hamstring is located.
