I'm going for a 2-2 draw (Benteke 2). I think we will definitely score tonight - their defence lacks pace down the middle. Hopefully Okore makes his debut alongside Vlaar.

You would think even their army of new supporters would remember the odd occasion.

The fact that some of them do not seem to know whether they are at home or away tonight says it all really.

Sorry to be pessimistic, but I'm getting an increasingly ominous feeling about this one. We've been annihilated a few times at Stamford bridge over the years, which isn't helping! Chelsea can afford to make a few changes without weakening their side. I wonder what lambert will do.

I think lukaku is likely to play tonight. Clark did well on Saturday, but this would be the sort of physical test clark has struggled with in the past.

Still, we should put up a much sterner test than hull did. But while Chelsea took their foot off the gas after half an hour on Sunday, mourinho was talking about how he wanted to destroy teams when they have the chance.

Our best chance must be to exploit their centre backs' lack of pace and mobility.

This. Especially the first part!

I have gone for a draw but it will be hard work keeping Chelsea at bay but saying that our forwards can do damage to anyone...
It's our defence that worries me most I still feel we need a bit more metal in there...
Either way tonight's game will be another good test for us..

Luiz is out . Not that it makes much difference .

didn't Luiz play in midfield against us in a game not too long ago and looked brilliant?

I don't rate their CB's at all, at least from a speed standpoint. I think we can really bother them there. When I look back on the game at VP, where we could have won, there's much to be cautiously optimistic about tonight. We can go at them, we can score, but we have to be very disciplined. They are a very good side, very physical and they will capitalise on being at home wherever possible. We can't be naive tonight. This will be a very, very different test to that posed by Arsenal at the weekend.

Saw the first half of the Chelsea V Hull game and the movement of Chelsea's attacking players is going to cause us serious problems. I was also impressed with De Bruyne looks a decent player.

Hull Didn't have any attacking threat and I'm hoping that that will be the difference. If we can get the ball to front three our pace will hurt Terry and Cahill.

Sadly I'm going for 4-2 to Chelsea

Lampard will give Chelsea an early lead.
Then Congo Waring will put us 2-1 ahead.
Terry gets sent off.
Tony Moon with a break away seals it 3-1 for Villa.

Made me smile.

I love the post where somebody thought they were away tonight, not at their place. You couldn't make it up. Priceless.
