Weather update approx. 8 miles west of Luton.
Thunder, lightening and rain two hours ago but has now cleared up to leave a pleasant sunny day with a nice breeze.
Looking in the direction of Luton there is some cloud but nothing untoward. Earlier dark skies over Aylesbury have cleared.

Cheers Andy.
Am wearing Sou'wester and wellies just in case! :-D

I have not seen anything from Perform's average monkeys who operate match streams about the total fuck up last Saturday.  Nor any reassurance that they plan to stop eating banana pizzas long enough tonight to provide value for the money paid by subscribers. Have you?

I asked them and they are doing something, too slowly and in the background.

Phoned Luton earleir and can pay on the gate, but advised to go fairly early as been quite a few queries from Villa fans. Just home from work and waiting for the lad to do likewise then off we go.

I can confirm that the bricklayers right by the station doesn't contain many fine real ales and the locals definitely aren't a really friendly bunch. Nothing to see here, honest.

Mat Kendrick says rumour suggests Benteke may be there. He would never have signed again if he knew what Luton is like.

I'm sure I read somewhere (fairly) reputable that he is going to get 45 minutes on the pitch.

I hope, despite everything he gets a great reception and bags a goal. We can put all of the other stuff behind us and enjoy him winning games for us.
