Someone suggested this was the best place for this:

From the beeb:

Stoke City will offer their supporters free coach travel to all of their Premier League games in the 2013-14 season, the club has announced today.

It is believed to be the first time any side in England's top four divisions has undertaken such a bold initiative for an entire campaign.

The Club is introducing the initiative on the back of the increase in their income delivered by the new TV deals, in a bid to try and ease the financial burden on fans who follow City on their travels.

Chief executive Tony Scholes said: "As a Club we are conscious that following football can be an expensive business, especially at a time when so many people are feeling the squeeze financially."

Anything to get people away from down to watch the drivel that is played at the Britannia. They'll be giving tickets away soon for home matches.

Still, a very good idea.

I think we might see better fare served up there next season. Mark Hughes has apparently had a positive effect with the players, a lot of whom were barely on speaking terms by the end of last season with Pulis. I work with an aunt of one of the 1st team regulars, who Pulis stopped doing extra practising in the afternoon. Hughes has allocated him one of his coaching staff to stay behind with him and said he'll do it if that person can't stay behind. Always liked Hughes - Hard sod, who knew where the onion bag was and got sacked by the Council House tenants when he had a pretty good record at Wastelands Stadium.

If I was picking a manager to take Stoke into The Championship, I'd pick Mark Hughes.

When Villa have given free travel it hasn't always worked out for the best, such as when all those cars got damaged near Earls Court when we played Chelsea.

So would I. The team of dirty journeymen he assembled at Blackburn was every bit as unpleasant to watch as the team Pulis built at Stoke. Lucas Neill, Brett Emerton, Andy Todd. He walked out on Fulham because they failed to "match his ambition",he thought he'd get the Villa job and now he's at Stoke. Very ambitious
