Stan on the pitch with his family is one of my favourite moments in football.

Absolutely, it certainly brought a tear to my eye.

That Tomlinson kid signed up to a lower league club. Hopefully it's just a PR stunt because if he can't get through a charity match without getting a knock, throwing up and having fans issue death threats on his behalf, he's not likely to do well in a competitive environment.

Regarding Stan, I've had awful allergies today. Well done to Celtic for their part and their fans who made it a special day for the Petrovs.

Thing is it wasn't even that much of a challenge the big bumder.

I really don't know which is funnier,

Gabby nailing him in the first place
Him having to hobble off and then puking like a girl
His fans wetting themselves with anger that their big hero was nobbled in a nothing tackle

Just got back. A fine occasion all round. And Gabby was an absolute star ;-)

Very impressed with Paul Lambert's performance. Amazed how long he stayed on the pitch, and then he even came back on. Major fair play.

I love the fact that #Agbonlahor is top of the worldwide trends on twitter right now, mostly now people praising him right now.

It is, he's playing a couple of reserve team matches for a charity he supports. Bet it's given Doncaster Rovers brilliant worldwide exposure as well.

As a slight aside, I wonder if the police will take the death threats as seriously as they did the rape threats to the women last month with the bank notes change.  I seem to remember that being big news about how they were hunting them down for questioning.

Got to be honest I find the adults Tweeting how pleased they are that a kid from a pop group getting injured whilst giving up his time to play for Stan as pathetic as the death threats and abuse from the teenage girls.

Yes, I have a daughter. Yes, Louis is her favourite. Zayn is mine.

I find it funny that he got a whack off a proper footballer, but you're right; he gave up his time for this, plus his profile worldwide must have brought a lot of attention to the game.

There seemed to be a lot of screaming going on when Mr Tomlinson came on and when he was anywhere near the ball, so I'm sure he boosted the gate with his attraction for the (pre-?)-teen girlie market.

Respect his decision to be involved, my issue is with this #prayforlouis bullshit and Gabby getting death threats.
