Fair play to Celtic and their fans - not surprised Stilyan couldn't hold it together at the end.

Would love a Villa v Celtic game. The fans today were amazing and brought tears to the eyes that have not been seen other than at my kids births since 26 May 1982 in Rotterdam

Great day for stan and great support .
I see the threats have begun at gabby according to the mirror website-

Quote

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor was the subject of death threats and shocking abuse from One Direction fans after injuring band member Louis Tomlinson.

The pair were playing in Stiliyan Petrov's game for charity at Celtic Park when the 26-year-old forward tackled the singer.

It was a fair challenge from the Villa man, but Tomlinson was injured and his notoriously, er, over-excited fans took to Twitter to send Agbonlahor abuse and threats.

One fan told Agbonlahor she would "chop his balls off," while another threatened to kill him if he didn't apologise.

On leaving the pitch, the boyband star then vomited - further provoking the ire of his loyal band of internet abusers.

A Petrov XI beat a Celtic XI 5-3 in the end, with Dimitar Berbatov netting a hat-trick for his former international team-mate's side.

Henrik Larsson scored for the hosts, while Jamie Redknapp, John Terry and Robert Pires were among the special guests to play.

Watch: Gabriel Agbonlahor injures One Direction's Louis Tomlinson.

Just had a look at the names who played today, fair play to some of them for turning up especially the much lamented Mr Terry seeing as he doesn't have a connection to either club.

Yep, was going to ask if they were any plans for a re-match at VP at some point. Play it during an international weekend like this one and you'd get a very healthy crowd I'd suspect and obviously Celtic would bring a few.

Stan on the pitch with his family is one of my favourite moments in football.

I needed the tissues when his youngest son ran up to him.

Same here.
Well done, Celtic and other organisers, including both teams and managers.

Terry also hit the post from half way in his own half. Excellent stuff.

However, the Gabby tackle on that 1 Direction fop was the funniest thing.

I reckon Gabby thought he'd give him a bit of a nudge, he didn't realise he was going to end up throwing up on the sidelines. What a gigantic, gigantic fanny.

Just imagine if he had been Benteke'd. They would still be picking pieces of him from the pitch.

Ahh leave the kid alone. He went to a poor country for Comic relief and looked sad for the cameras. He had the bottom lip going and everything.

That was just like his champion League final miss!
