It's nice to see a charity match with Robbie Williams nowhere near it.

And that twat who also does them with him, that little shadow of his that follows him around, Jonathan something.

Oh and Ralf Fucking Little.
All sorts attach themselves to live on TV charity matches just to show their "human side "

I know, it's just that this is the first one, ever, without those boring faces.

Surprised there's not more Villa past and present involved. Laursen, Mellberg, Carew, NRC, Delph ?

Can we establish from this afternoon that Gabby's more of a Westlife fan than One Direction?

Not sure how the follow up to the penalty can be given as offside.

A player can stand anywhere he likes outside the penalty area as long as he is ten yards from the ball.  If he is forward of the kicker and the penalty is missed he would automatically be deemed offside and interfering with play of any subsequent follow up.

Hope this clears this up for you.

Stan on the pitch with his family is one of my favourite moments in football.

That was fantastic.
The game was good, the turnout, gabby taking out the 1d kid.
It had so many great little moments Berbatov's third, some of the older players
like Martin Petrov and Larsson, John Terry attempting the spectacular...

I read that John Robertson had a heart attack recently, it was great to
see him in the dugout looking so well.

I needed the tissues when his youngest son ran up to him.

Lovely game to watch. I think Aston Villa should arrange end of season friendly ( and world cup warm up for them) with Bulgaria national team at Villa Park with profit going to Petrov's charity. He also can come on for last 5 minutes for Villa / Bulgaria.
