Sweet spot on the knee is a fucker. I copped for one in a game once and spent five minutes rolling round like a 1980's Argentinian.

Me too, but I spent three months in a cast.

Gabby shouldn't need to apologise - it was a nothing challenge. If the boy band boy had anything about him he'd man up and say Gabby has nothing to apologise for - it was a game of football and these things happen. Wimp

If he had any decency the guy from One Direction would apologise for his embarrassing fans.

Anyway it looks like yesterday was a great occasion. 60,000 people turning out to watch the match is brilliant.

After yesterday i've rewritten the line in Gabby's song from 'He's fast as fuck, hefast as fuuuuuuck' to 'he'll fuck you up, he'll make you chuck!'

Funnily enough, Tory c***s 1D make me want to throw up every time their name is mentioned.

Eerie coincidence, eh?

You'll shed a tear at that, especially when his little one runs out. Very, very moving

I think its one to watch every so often. Reminds you what is important and also in football terms, appreciate the guys who work hard and dedicate themselves to their profession.
I'll fill up watching that in thirty years probably!

All the best Stan

This article was from four days before Petrov's charity game:

Premonition.

Remarkable piece of foreshadowing. Ha ha.

I wonder just whether the lad will now appear for Donny.
I'd also forgotten about Teddy Sheringham mullering Gordon Ramsey. Must admit I found that one pretty amusing too. Ramsey is loud mouthed gobshite.

Am I only one feeling a bit sorry for 1D lad? He was clearly enjoying the game and he gave a good visibility for the match. I think he just fell awkwardly and hit some sweet spot from his body to the ground and got winded up as it's easy to if you're not used to getting knocks or knocked over.

No, he is a fanny.

The exact same collision happened to me the other week. The ball was loose and I was favourite to get there. Having got to the ball, the winger was closing me down, I turned my foot to angle to ball away past him and he kept going and followed through twisting my knee.

I neither fell over, threw up or had to limp off. I also played the next day. I am fucking nails me.
