New official Aston Villa song & chant to be released August 17th!

There is a new and official Aston Villa song and chant being released this August 17th called 'The Lions Call'. It's been written by two Villa fans who work at Birmingham's Acoustic 1 Radio. You can hear the previews on their podcast page:

Whilst I know the intentions are good, I think the fans can manage to come up with their own chants without encouragement from a pop recording. There ends my grumpy old man comments.

Oh dear. I'm sure it's well intended and if they are Villa fans then I don't want to get down on them but this is another embarrassing attempt to get fans to do/get behind something that they won't.
