Arsenal always go on a run of about ten successive victories at the end of the season
Yes, it is the Arsenal continuum.
Start of season, much talk of how they can really challenge this year, a good start, then an extended period of mediocrity where they get beaten at places like Stoke, Hull and Cardiff on account of it being raining and their fancy players not liking mud, a struggle to remain in the CL places, whingeing North London gimps moaning on 606 about Wenger, then they end the season with a ten match unbeaten run to scrape into fourth place on the last day, as Wenger punches the air with joy as they clinch the new first place.
i don't suppose "the Wigan of the Champions League places" is really usable any more now they've gone down, mind.
