Fulham away first up would be ideal, had a great day out two years ago. Ok, 0-0, TSM's first game but away from the football the piss up was good.
I would like either Norwich or the Baggies at home or Fulham away for our first game.
Albion at home last game to send them down.

You don't get local derbies first game, last game or Boxing Day.

We played Albion first game in the mid 80s. We won 4-3 - 6 goals before half time - blazing hot.

Thats because the real passion would overshadow that artificial hype created by Sky surrounding Man Utd V Crystal Palace and Chelsea V Stoke.

Ken McNaught's debut about a week after he left us for them and his replacement Brendan Ormsby got the winning goal. One of my most memorable games as a kid. It was shown on ESPN classic a couple of years ago.The first game of the following season, at home to Coventry was shown around the same time.

I  feel pretty positive, excited, intrigued with whats happening down that villa! I cant wait for the fixtures and what games where. I cant wait for the goal line technology !!  I wont be going to Hull, Cardiff (seems pretty dangerous to me) though Palace is the only possibility as I am near london based. safety is always a concern for me and i dont like going too far up north. Fulham Arsenal and Chelsea depending on when they are - are matches i make and i have to sit with my friends or cousins but am cheering on in my head.  The home games I pick and choose when schedules allow and if relatives buy me a ticket. I am proud of the club and the way we at Villa back a campaign for safe standing it shows our fans are of good sense and responsible. We have sold out and have sky and watch alot of coverage but am also intrigued by BT sport and will pester my 'rents to get this package!!

Ideally the first game would be at home, and the first two would be against clubs who fell away at the end of last season. Norwich then Stoke would be good. After that Manchester United and Chelsea, to get them out of the way. Fulham away should always be some time in spring, so the weather's not bad and we have something to look forward to.

Wouldnt fancy stoke at the start of the Hughes reign, Norwich and Fulham or Albion will do nicely.

Nope he probably can't. 5 years ago we beat Cit-eh when he had just taken over 4-2. If that is an omen worth clinging to. If we do get them early doors
