Will have? According to rumour, might have. Actually, won't have.

Has anyone else done the BBC predictor thing? I already can't wait for the season to end

I have us going down on -224 points.

Arsenal always go on a run of about ten successive victories at the end of the season

Yes, it is the Arsenal continuum.

Start of season, much talk of how they can really challenge this year, a good start, then an extended period of mediocrity where they get beaten at places like Stoke, Hull and Cardiff on account of it being raining and their fancy players not liking mud, a struggle to remain in the CL places, whingeing North London gimps moaning on 606 about Wenger, then they end the season with a ten match unbeaten run to scrape into fourth place on the last day, as Wenger punches the air with joy as they clinch the new first place.

i don't suppose "the Wigan of the Champions League places" is really usable any more now they've gone down, mind.

I can't remember the last time Arsenal got off to a flying start in the first few weeks of the season. I think they might get Higuain, but not the rest. How long does it actually take to do the BBC predictor at this point? I did it for the first time in February and then found myself doing it every few weeks until we were safe.

Who's got a 'birthday game'? We are at home to Cardiff for mine. The last time we played on my birthday in 2008 I was supposed to watch my son play football for the first time in the morning and it got called off. Then in the afternoon I went and watched the Villa lose at home to Middlesbrough. Then afterwards my local had run out of my favourite lager when I got there. Then to round off my special day my favourite Indian was closed by the time I got there.

I don't mind not having a game on my birthday this year - we went of the League Cup to Bradford in the last one.

The last time we beat Man U at home in the league was on my 30th birthday - and very enjoyable too!

If we're not in the bottom 3 by the end of August were doing well

The league table means absolutely fuck all in August
