No doubt it's been said, but great to see Stan looking well on the video.

Well full marks to the club for getting him in early. The last thing you need with foreign players is signing them near the end of August so they don't get time to settle in and have to spend 3 months in a Travelodge in Aston. Black mark for Lambert for signing someone during his holidays. Doesn't he know the club's supposed to go into paralysis when the manager is away? Kendrick must be bummed. He looks a good prospect and certainly has the right pedigree in the league he's coming from. Word of caution though - he's very young and not all Lambert's transfers are going to come off (probably) or straight away.

Anyway welcome Aleks

Bang on the money as usual, gnasher!

I like signing's like this. He's someone the vast majority of us don't know too much about and it makes it all the more interesting. It's also nice to have a manager with a bit of imagination in the transfer market.

Just back from there and the souvenirs on sale are mainly Man U , Liverpool, arsenal, Chelsea - I saw a couple of blues mugs on sale but nothing villa.

If we could seal the okore deal this week it would be an excellent start to the summers business.

Went skiing there a few years ago, saw loads of locals in villa hats etc
Also most of the bars had villa flags and scarves up.

There's a Bulgarian supporters club because they were at the Lions Club Awards the other week.

Hopefully this time neat year the media will be asking why the so-called "big clubs" missed this one.

Presumably he's here to play in the Gabby/Weimann role. Play wide, is quick and is willing to track back and defend (can't see Lambert signing anyone who wouldn't track back).

Not sure he would score the number of goals that gabby and andi provide but i expect him to provide a lot of assists , another option and the more options in the squad the better.
