That's brilliant PWS.  The look of awe and wonder on the young Wigan kid's face is a picture!!

I don't care about Wigan,
They don't care about me,
All I care about, is AVFC

Love it!!!

I don't get it.

It's a blues song, originally about Carson Yeung

"We're Aston Villa, we'll sit where we want". Really was crazy how many Villa kept coming from that area of Wigan fans.

I've given the side lots of praise of late, and there's plenty of promise. But I just watched the highlights on ESPN goals and I have to say I'm not sure our defence has improved over the season at all. We won't avoid a repeat of this seasons struggles unless we improve both individually and as a unit. It's just complete bedlam back there half the time.

Vlaar apologised after the game. He said that was his worst performance in a Villa shirt. I think he is right and it is good of him to know it. He is a hard player to dislike.

I hope next season (now hes more used to the league and whatnot) his performances are as good as his attitude.

I can understand his anger at the Sky top 4 bias although I won't be hanging my head in shame for subscribing as its the only way I can watch more than 4 Villa games a season as I live away from Brum (currently in a USA airport with an 8 hour delay for fucks sake).

I hate Beckham

Feel your pain!!

Still bloody waiting

Just watched the (extremely short) highlights on Match of the Day.  Two more fantastic goals to add to the collection for this season!

Not so well done to MOTD for not having 1 Villa goal in the contenders for goal of the season.

I am fucking fuming. They had a long-ball route 1 toepoke from Donkey Carroll. But nothing from Villa. Wankers

And an offside goal as the winner. Twats. Even allowing for obvious bias, the skill showed by Lowton, and indeed Vlaar today, for defenders was far better than the Carroll or Van Persie goals. They are strikers, they are meant to score decent goals and have some skill, defenders aren't. Bunch of fuck knuckles.

Its a meaningless contest on a highlights show presented by morons.  Don't get so wound up, we already know our goals are the best, we don't need Alan fucking Hansen to confirm it.
