Really wish I was there. Presumably this will be Bent's last match for us, unless Benteke goes. I'm going for 4-1 Villa with a Bent hatrick.

It'll be his last game regardless of whether Benteke goes you'd think.

Great touch by whoever did the masks.

Seems something of a mask-arade to me.

Yes, they were donated by http://www.mask-arade.com/

Some other good masks there. I suggest using the Eastenders one for when Stephen Ireland plays his final game.

Bit of a strange bench. Dawkins and Herd will likely be off and have barely been involved all year. Doesn't look great for Bannan and Lichaj.

Good luck to them.

No Holman either and he has made a couple of sub appearances lately.

Unless Bannan is injured it looks pretty grim for him too. Dawkins ahead of him on the bench.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's the last we see of Herd too.

Carruthers fell foul of the 'no mobiles' rule. Not quite the same as being photographed spreadeagled in a casino covered in banknotes, but I do wonder if  he is being given a hard time.

Herd has been injured but before that he was playing, just ask Paul Winge Again. ;)

I'm delighted to see him back.

Maybe bannan fell foul of the 'no quality ' rule?

Right now I think Carruthers is just being given the time to develop.

I think anyone who isn't in our first choice XI or Gary Gardner could well go in the summer. I read a PL quote about building up the strength of the squad over the summer so I think we will be trying to offload anyone who wasn't good enough to get into a side that was struggling near the bottom of the league and bringing in players that will give competition for places all over the park.

Don't think we should draw any conclusions from this - what with long-term injuries etc.

I doubt Herd will be off. He has just had injury problems which is why he hasn't featured that often.
