Keep 11 on the pitch Villa, I fear for Benteke because Mason will try and level it up.

So far so good. We've really played well going forward. We're a threat every time we break.
Guzan has been excellent. The midfield 3 excellent. Benteke has been immense. What a fucking player. Sometimes I have to pinch myself watching Tekkey play because he's a truly special player. I don't worry about him being a one season wonder either. I think he's got a lot more in his locker than Demba Ba say, who's struggling now at Chelsea.

I think if we maintain the same tempo and keep at them, we can put this game to bed now. Barring a moment of magic from Mata or Hazard who've both been kept at bay so far, Chelsea will struggle to score.

Defensively, aside from some typically comical moments, we've done well. Particularly the midfielders who've been covering very well. Westy has put in a few really good tackles.

Good stuff from Villa. Ahead against a top team and still looking the most threatening. Unrecognisable from a few months ago. Let's hope we continue to go for it and get a 2nd...and a 3rd :)

Go for the aggregate win

Was it a straight red?

Should have for a foot that high!

think it was second yellow.
Gabby faked it, more an ankle on his chest than a boot in the face. But I dont care one single bit

Excellent first half, I'm just scared that Mason will send one of ours off to even things up.  Need another goal.

Really enjoying this! Everyone's up for it, but special mention has to go to Fabian Delph. He was absolutely superb in that first half.

Possible if Terry can f**k off as well.

In terms of the red, yep Gabby milked it but Chelsea are the masters of that sort of shit so it's karma baby.

Plus it was a bookable offence anyway. Dunno what Ramires was thinking. First he tries booting Sylla in the face, then moves onto Gabby. You just don't raise your foot, studs up, that high. You're gonna get booked.

As for Gary Cahill. If he keeps defending like this, we might just re-sign him if he's not careful! ;)

If we get a second I'd be tempted to get Benteke off and let Bent see out the game. Don't want to see Tekkers go off and I think JT will really amp up the wind up duties in the second half to try and get it 10 v 10.

Great running by Andi on the goal....one end to the other.

I noticed that too. Benteke cuts in a dummy to confuse the defence with Weimann darting in, then takes it on the outside. Great goal.

That midfield 3 really are great for us aren't they! Sylla takes a little while to get confident in a game, but once he does he is so useful.

Terry could easily have got the second yellow for the hand in Wee mans face at the end of the half, so we need to target falling over near him. A win, with Terry sent off would be just about the perfect day for me!

Really hope they don't bring on Mophead. He is very good in midfield.
