Newcastle will piss on QPR - jeeps I'd fancy our Ladies team to beat them at the moment. A Zombie football club stuffed with 25 players who don't give a shit.

They'll finish bottom

Like the stoke scoreline 1-3. There was a great feeling we would win that one we did. Theres also a feeling we win this one. Gabby Andi and Chrissy B to score!!

Villa to win 2-1, buggies to go 1 up then get roasted in the 2nd half.
Also think the self styled pride of the midlands cough cough!!!! might do the pie eaters.

I agree if we win tomorrow it would take some combination of results to take us down.

What, Wigan win their game in hand, then beat us on the final day. That is not a far-fetched combination.

Wigan have won 2 premier games since December, both of those lucky. It's possible that they could win 3 or even all their games left but not likely. They could also lose all of their games. I think all teams under threat will be more than 3 points clear of Wigan by the time we play the last game. They will lose the Cup Final next Saturday & get relegated when they lose to Arsenal on the Wednesday.

It's long overdue.

Agree John.  Their luck has to run out at some point.

Did it annoy anyone else when Martinez started saying the decisions in the Spurs game did not go for them, and that is how it goes if you are at the bottom!? I thought you must have a shit memory, as Gomez should have gone then your centre half saved in front of the keeper with his hand in the last seconds of the game. Couple that with the Newcastle game where McManaman should have been sent off and the handball for the winner, the dubious free kick for the goal against QPR with the last kick of the game and a host of others recently. Even in the game they battered us Holman rattled the bar at 1-0 down, so they have had enough fortune this season!

Please football gods, get shut of Whelan!

Off topic slightly, but if you were to take a load of elephants and put them somewhere like Siberia or Greenland, would they die out or would they eventually evolve into woolly mammoths?

Theyd probably die , the transposition would need to be more gradual. I could of course be completely wrong.
Back on topic , if you took a pack of hungry lions and threw them into an aviary filled with canaries , what's the likely outcome ?

How about taking Dave Whelan and leaving him in Greenland? Would he evolve into a higher form of life, such as a jar of pickled beetroot?

I cannot describe my dislike of uncle Dave. I would love him to go down, and his bleating about Woberto being a top 4 manager, and too big for Villa and Liverpool proved to be total shite.

If Wigan finally drop, perhaps Real Madrid may finally be able to tempt him away from the DW hotseat.

Gobby Whelan and 'the worlds next great manager' going down would be priceless.

Newcastle, who 'bought their way out of trouble as Villa should have done', equally so.

Sunderland, because of Di Canio's antics when we played Swindon, would be another smile widener.

So, pretty much as long as we stay up whoever else does go will raise a giggle or two.

The man's a scumbag as well, for lots of other non-fottball reasons that won't interest you if you're not from Wigan.

Special mention to Ricky at the Villa ticket office, who took precisely one minute to sort out a duplicate ticket for today's game, after Royal Mail let me down. Really helpful and a credit to the club. Just hope the trip is worth it now.

2-4 (Benteke 2, Gabby, Baker piledriver)
