It's a pity the last Belgian we had (i think, Luc Nillis anyway) didn't play a few more games for us.
What a player.

Really don't want to be going into the last day with less than 4 points ahead of Wigan, which means we must win tomorrow to have any chance of that.

Agree that I don't want any possibility of us going down when we go to Wigan on the final day. We just need to beat Norwich and Chelsea, that'll do.

Didn't we end up with his brother Bob instead?

I'm surprised so many are predicting a win a Norwich, seeing as they've only lost 3 at home this season.

Stoke had only lost two at home before we played them, Pete.

They haven't lost at home since December when Man City won there 4-3, so probably due a defeat!

We will keep a clean sheet sooner or later, what better chance that at Norwich with their lack of firepower?

Sunderland feel-good factor to continue rather than complacency setting in, 3-0 Villa, Bentekke with two more to hit that 20 mark in the league.

They hadn't been beaten for 10 games when we smashed them there before Christmas.

3-1 villa win at least , but could well be more! I feel as confident about this game as i did at stoke and think we will be far too good for Norwich.

I agree if we win tomorrow it would take some combination of results to take us down.

What, Wigan win their game in hand, then beat us on the final day. That is not a far-fetched combination.

If we win tomorrow Wigan would need at least 8 points from their last 4 games not 6.

But you're assuming there's only two teams involved in this fight to stay up.

Yes, but it wouldn't be enough to take us down.
