How nice it was to finally watch the last 10 of a Villa game without heartache, chestpains, headache and inverted scrotum!  :P

Great first post!

Every single goal was earned tonight. Not getting carried away, because that battle at Carrow Road is coming. And, it will be a much different game.

But, football is so fucking magnificent at times.

Anyone having trouble sleeping?
Not even trying. I'm staying up a bit longer to watch the highlights again...and again!
And I'll probably be bouncing off the walls tomorrow. And Wednesday...and Thursday...can't wait til Norwich on Sat.
What a great night!
UTV!

Special mention as well for Legion who missed the game and had me texting him updates, including one that ended with this gem! "gabby cert chance imager wife"

Any guesses what it should have read?

gabby cert chance inches wide ?

Just back from B6. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.
Absolutely superb.

I got way too emotional about this result. I think the intense pressure involved, coupled with the margin of victory (especially after the tonkings we've had this season), led to too much screaming and shouting at the screen. Some tears of relief at the end, I admit it.

Anyway, a nice article for you all: Onward Christian as Paul Lambert's young soldiers reward high principles

The best right back display from a Villa player since John Gidman.
High praise indeed Mr Cooper. Next you'll be saying young Bennett will be as good as Charlie Atkin?

You never know!

Thought the intensity and the way we closed them down at the start of the 2nd half was key.  Unlike many games this season, we didn't let them get any momentum after half-time and the work rate was superb.
