We need more goals here, probably 4. Come on Villa please.

yes  I could not watch the villa players just panically jumping in on tackles for the last 15 minutes

Sit back, soak it up and catch them on the counter.

Westwood has developed a nasty habit of not watching runners, who go on to score. He did it against Everton, Lplop and tonight, wakey wakey.
Have to say Lowton and Bennett are both very good tonight, but Lowton especially.

So far not too bad. Okay going forward. We look like we could get 1-2 more and we'll need to.

Defensively awful. Baker is lost at sea again. He's just not good enough at this level to be honest.

Vlaar is a number 2. What we need is the lynchpin, the organiser, who can keep the defence in order. A Laursen, a Mellberg, a God. Vlaar is not that. Same with Cueller. He's good if he's got someone beside him keeping the line together, and keeping everyone sharp.

Law of Aston Villa dictates that we've had our good half (mostly first halfs innit) and we'll be bobbins in the 2nd. Lets break the law today lads!

Win today. Beat Norwich, job done.

We just need to score several more and hammer them back. Baker must must must do much better.

Good half - playing with plenty of promise and both full backs getting forward- good movement up front and 2 good goals- still look a bit jittery at the back though- i think we will need to score at least one more.

Decent half for me, still need to be a bit more precise in the final 3rd but we've done well up to there and the 2nd goal in particular was excellent, great ball from lowton, excellent first touch and finish from Weimann.

Sylla looks like he's struggling with the weather to me, just seems to be misjudging the spped of the ball.  Has put in a couple of belting tackles though.

Thanks for the films of the villa goals.
I am in the kitchen, on H&V, following your posts, with greatest hits of the 80's on the CD player. Wow what a first half!

Also how the fuck do I post without seeing that annoying "there has been 1 post since you posted" thing? It's doing my fucking tits in.

Can anyone help me? Cheers x

If only gabby scored his normal one on one miss   , would be 3-1

I feel sick in the stomach every time Sunderland have the ball, however all three goals were quality.

Come on you lions...

Imagine the team we'd be if we had a defence? We'd be... mid-table.

Tekkers or Weimann in that position and it probably would have been.
That said I fancy Gabbaldinho to pop up with a goal tonight.

Who wants this more? 45 minutes to make or break us. Couldn't be bigger. Need an early goal. Then we'll break them.

Clark on for Sylla for me, Baker to left back and Bennett moved forward on the left.

Clark failed a fitness test.
