I going to match but I'm going to turn around because I can't bear to watch.

Seriously though, stop shitting it. This is sport, high drama. I think we'll win but just enjoy it. Whatever happens this season we're always going to be Aston Villa and this club will always drag us through periods of agony and ecstasy but mainly mediocrity. Bring it on.

Don't worry about this one.

I am detaching from all sources of news and sport for the evening soon. When I do that, it always works out for us.

As nerving as it is, I think I was more concerned when we played QPR than tonight. We had to win that and did. We can not win tonight and still be ok, in my opinion.

30 minutes until I start out and collect a lad for only his second Villa match (Fulham his first).
Have to try and convince him it's not always like this!

I hesitated as I voted for a win. First time all season... Have done three poohs today as well.

I was feeling confident, but was suddenly filled with fear - a cold, dread that I have only felt once before, on the day I found a burglar in my storage unit.

3-2 us. Vlaar hat trick, all from set pieces. Or something. Hopefully.

Just about to leave when my stomach decided to 'move south'.

It was massive, and also a complete phantom, so I'm taking that as a good omen.

4-0 Villa.

I do hope Craig Gardner's not selected by De Canio. He can be deadly from free kicks.  I hope Lambert is aware of this if not Gabby should bring it to his attention quickly.

No, no drama

She wasn't kidding around
