I'd put the dot behind our own goal. Surely we'd go the right direction then.

I think the orange dot should be our new shirt sponsor

I feel I must defend the honour and integrity of The Orange Dot...the Orange Dot has been proved to have magical powers over the years.
Scientific research has proved that it has contributed to important wins, too many scrapes with relegation and has been behind many an important goal at crucial times.
That said, like any wonder drug and celestial being TOD has a limit to its powers and quite frankly one could justifiably understand it if TOD was to say "Sorry, this mess is beyond me"
That loaves and fishes thing may have appeared to have been some kind of miracle so could Peter Crouch getting off with Abi Clancey but do we expect any miraculous occurance being great enough to see us secure sufficient points to survive ?
Please therefore go easy on TOD there are limits to its powers.
Thank you...

I'd have the orange dot in the team ahead of Agbonlahor

Is the orange dot just another form of homeopathy.
Where the treatment is based on the memory of substance.
I remember us scoring a goal and even winning a long time ago and that memory lingers on but it doesn't mean that it works
Anyway I watched Pompeii with a baggie's fan and the God Vulcan spoke and Villa twice were mentioned and Albion not once. so 2-0 is the result.
Mind you the Villa collapsed down into the sea but we were still near the cup and nothing was mentioned again after the 75th minute

I've not put my dog through the humiliation of his villa shirt in a while, perhaps that will change the teams fortunes.

Possibly the orange dot is exhausted from too much use-could it be bought off the bench in the second half as an impact player?

I can't remember the last time the Orange Dot did it's magic.
Looking back, the last time we won a game SoccerHQ started the Match Thread but it was a cup game, not the all important league game we have tonight.
League wise, we have to go right back to December when Toronto Villa started the Match Thread against Leicester for a win, though he obviously used up all his powers on that game as every other thread he's started since has either been a defeat or at best a 0-0 bore draw.
In fact, looking at the records of those who have started Match Threads, all have a tainted record... except one person.
Drum roll...
Step forward, PaulWinch again.. 100% success for the Villa this season whenever he starts a Match Thread. Okay, he only posted the one and it was the first game of the season away at Stoke but right now I've more faith in him than the Orange Dot.
Over to you, PaulWinch again. Do us proud.

Keep the colour and change the shape. A sweet potato comes to mind.

Change the colour and the shape. How about an ace of spades?
