One thing that always happens at Old Trafford is that Villa get an absolute sitter in the first ten minutes and I know what you're thinking, did Benteke fire six shots at Fulham without a goal or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all the excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is the Beast, the most powerful striker in the world, and would knock Rio Ferdinands head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Its long overdue we pissed on their parade. 8)

Love it

if you take the view that the Utd game is a write off match like me, then its a free hit
problem is so were Man City and Arsenal and we lost them both, so I feel the same result tomorrow

only thing I will be betting on is Agbonlahor to score at any time during the match, i'm sure Utd will win but Gabby always seems to get on the end of one against them
Can he not get on the end of three or four, please.

I agree it is a sort of free git game, so anything is a bonus. I'm just worried about the effects - psychological and in terms of goal difference - of a good thumping. I can just visualise RVP and Rooney getting back on form and tearing us to pieces. It's definitely possible!

Just looking at the betting - Benteke to score first and Villa to win 3-1 is 400/1, if you go with Agbonlahor and 3-1 its 450/1. A couple of quid on either would pay for the season tickets!

We have beaten utd once in our last 34 games against them - a truly shocking record - lets hope tonight we start to change things!

Quick question - do we perform a 'guard of honour' tonight if they win the league?  I'm slightly clutching at straws here, but their next game is at Arsenal, so for gloating purposes might they not prefer it if they had to do it?

A decent performance and a narrow defeat tonight I think...2-1 I'll go for. It'll prove to be a defeat we can afford...the worst thing about the night will be it'll be where Man U claim the title...it was bad enough all those times in the late 70s when Liverpool needed to and did beat us to win the title. It'll be just like that...

If there was to be a guard of honour (vomit), then surely it'll be at the first game after they've won the title?
